Description

Following the crumbs in the chaos is a full time job. As a busy mom of three and keeping it weird in Austin, Texas, it’s safe to say that my life is never boring. In addition to running my coaching business as C’N’C’s CEO, I’m a certified coach for a premier virtual fitness and nutrition program helping others feel better while sustaining a healthy lifestyle. My mom and dad are thrilled that I’m putting my Exercise Science degree to good use. Along with my experience training pro athletes, S.W.A.T. members, and a high school football team, I gained 10+ years experience as the Director of Marketing building multiple court reporting companies. Lastly, I am a published writer, Content Coordinator, and Account Executive for a publication by Best Version Media. They even gave me a monthly “How to” column where I teach others how to be more self-sufficient with common household tasks. Every woman should know how their home functions and what to do if something malfunctions, man or no man. With my husband on the road, searching “How To” on the internet has transformed me into a “Mommy MacGyver”. “I don’t know how you have the time.” “You’re like a Supermom!” These are common things that people say, but the truth is that life hasn’t always been easy or pretty. Even with the bumps, I always try to find the humor in everything because laughter is good for the soul and you should never take life too seriously….where’s the fun in that?

As we enter the new year, my first guest of 2024 will help you reach your nutrition and weight loss goals. Dr. Hannah Brandt, founder and lead coach at HLB Lifestyle, has learned from her own personal weight loss experience what works and what doesn’t work and is now helping clients through the highs and lows of optimizing their health. About the Guest:Dr. Hannah Brandt, PT, DPT, CPT, IFNCP, is the founder and lead coach at HLB Lifestyle, a virtual nutrition and fitness coaching company that aims to redefine the accepted norms of diet culture and weight loss. HLB Lifestyle is shifting the concepts associated with weight management from fad diets, severe restrictions, and quick fixes to sustainability, optimal health, and a relentless pursuit of joy.  https://hlblifestyle.com/https://www.instagram.com/drhannah.healthcoachhttps://www.facebook.com/HannahBrandtOnlineTrainerhttps://hlblifestyle.com/blog/https://hlblifestyle.kartra.com/page/winthewarhttps://www.youtube.com/@drhannah.healthcoach/https://www.linkedin.com/in/drhannahbrandt/About the Host: Following the crumbs in the chaos is a full-time job as a Productivity Coach. Do you have paper piles in every room? Maybe you just have a really big stack on the kitchen counter like me? After talking with Jena Love, an organizing expert, about paper hubs and processes, this episode was born. We didn’t get to do a deep dive into her paper hub so I thought I would go into it more here and how I would interpret this clever system. It’s pretty great and I have now implemented this very skill into my weekly routine. If you want your copy, go to www.roomsneedlove.com and snag your free copy.https://www.facebook.com/groups/chaosncookiespodcastandmoreAbout the Host: Following the crumbs in the chaos is a full-time job as a Productivity Coach. When you have kids, meal time can be daunting! Did you pick up the right chicken nuggets? Are bananas still the fruit of the week? Jennifer Anderson, owner of Kids Eat in Color®, joined me today to talk about all things kid nutrition. We talk about overcoming a picky eater, bringing joy to the dinner table, and everything in between! About the Guest:Jennifer Anderson is a registered dietitian and has a masters of science in public health from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. In 2017, she founded Kids Eat in Color®, a resource that helps children and families have better nutrition and mental health. Prior to starting Kids Eat in Color® she coordinated youth nutrition programs at a food bank, performed research in inner-city food deserts, and consulted for the USDA national office SNAP-Ed program. Her academic background is in public health nutrition, cultural anthropology, and economics.https://kidseatincolor.com/https://www.instagram.com/kids.eat.in.color/https://www.facebook.com/kids.eat.in.colorhttps://twitter.com/kidseatincolorhttps://www.pinterest.com/kidseatincolor/About the Host: Following the crumbs in the chaos is a full-time job as a Productivity Coach. As a busy mom of three and the founder of Chaos N’ Cookies, keeping moms from crumbling is my main objective. The Family Playbook, or standard operating procedure, is the tool every mama needs to save time and stress-less when chaos ensues at home. Do you have a bedtime routine? What works best? We dive into whether you should give a bath before or after dinner or what a consequence should look like if dinner is left untouched. Do you follow through with punishments or are they quickly swept under the rug leaving you frustrated that your kids never listen to you? Tips, tricks, and excuses moms can try to make the end of the day easier since patience is already non-existent and even mom needs a good hug…and a warm cookie too!Following the crumbs in the chaos is a full-time job. As a busy mom of three, a wife to a traveling hubby, and keeping it weird in Austin, Texas, it’s safe to say that my life is never boring. In addition to running my coaching business as C’N’C’s CEO, I’m a certified coach for a premier virtual fitness and nutrition program helping others feel better while sustaining a healthy lifestyle. My mom and dad are thrilled that I’m putting my Exercise Science degree to good use. Along with my experience training pro athletes, S.W.A.T. members, and a high school football team, I gained 10+ years of experience as the Director of Marketing building multiple court reporting companies. Even with the bumps, I always try to find the humor in everything because laughter is good for the soul and you should never take life too seriously….where’s the fun in that?www.chaosncookies.comhttps://www.instagram.com/heathersteinker https://www.facebook.com/heathersteinkerhttps://linktr.ee/hsteinker Thanks for listening! Thanks so much for listening to our podcast!
