Survival of the Fittest

For the third consecutive year Arlington, VA was voted the “Fittest City in the United States.” With that as a backdrop, Gray and Lee discuss what “fit” really means.

We look at what factors are used to define “fit” and what variables may be overlooked as well. They explore socioeconomic status, stress, and other risk factors that play a part in fitness. Gray also compares our current fitness experience to dog parks and zoo animals.

The guys also debate physical awareness vs social awareness and break down how manipulation of environment can skew your fitness results. Gray offers up what he thinks is a holistic definition of what “fit” means and so much more. So strap in for another episode of the Movement Podcast — powered by FMS.
