On tonight's episode of the rageface studios show, I cover a Minecraft: Java Edition client ran by ESL, called Badlion Client. On November 19, 2020, I first discussed the client to discuss at-the-time recent allegations on 3 high-ranking staff at the team - Archybot (founder/ex-owner), who was catfished into meeting a supposed 16 year old girl, Tenebrous, who acted inappropiately on a Discord call, and MasterGBerry (founder/current owner), who dated a 14 year old when he was in his late 20's and Tenebrous (marketing manager), a YouTuber and Twitch streamer who was exposed for acting inappropriately in Discord calls with a 16-year-old called xDemoned. In this video, a year after my official upload on the situation, I cover Badlion's abuse of privacy systems on YouTube to censor criticism by me and others, as well as the fact that one of the people involved in the situation was controversially promoted.Badlion Client is a Minecraft client owned by ESL, which provides multiple benefits compared to vanilla Minecraft, such as FPS boosting via BetterFrames and Optifine, which helps in PvP matches on popular servers such as Hypixel and Mineplex. ESL, formerly known as Electronic Sports League, is an esports organizer and production company that produces video game competitions worldwide. ESL is the world's largest esports company, and the oldest that is still operational. Based in Cologne, Germany, ESL has eleven offices and multiple international TV studios globally. This episode of the rageface studios podcast focuses on an Australian-founded charity made in 2008 by Hugh Evans, Simon Moss and Wei Soo called Global Citizen, or alternatively Global Poverty Project, an international advocacy and educational organisation that seek to end extreme poverty worldwide by 2030. Earlier in September 2021, they had a public relations disaster conveniently close to their Global Citizen Live event over the weekend, as their announcement of CBS television show (now set to be a documentary) 'The Activist' was bombarded with criticism from those all over the political spectrum, who argued it was ridiculous that a charity had gamified people's struggles for commercial gain. Tonight's episode of the rageface studios show discusses a disgraced Gacha Life and Gacha Club YouTuber by the name of LenTotally, who was exposed in February 2021 for soliciting images of a 14-year-old girl whilst being 21, and whilst not being illegal in the Philippines, where him and his victim resided, it was still a massive breach in creator trust, considering the young demographic that Lunime targets with their dress-up game franchise, especially as he has been directly promoted by Luni himself previously. The allegations were vigorously covered by art commentary channels, such as HarleyTBS and Nawnii. In May 2021, he deleted his channel after poor reception to a community post he made about the situation, that following another poorly received response and comeback in March of the same year, but as of September 2021, he has decided to return to YouTube under the alias "Xyn," which has a different OC, profile picture and a hidden subscriber count to prevent any suspicion about his return. It is unclear what his motives are for returning, they could be anything from reusing his influence for his own sick desires, to just wanting to exploit the small fame he still has for YouTube ad revenue. This podcast discusses the implications of his return, and also the moral dilemna as to whether or not he should be welcomed back to the internet, due to him still remaining in a community full of children, with his massive influence intact. Tonight's episode of the rageface studios show discusses an event that occurred in the left-wing borough of Redbridge, which is in London, United Kingdom. Back on July 10, 2021, the Redbridge Council began the Redbridge Libraries Summer Reading Challenge for children in east London, which wouldn't have been an issue, except that one of the characters, hired by independent contractor Vision, was actually a nude monkey, complete with simulated organs. This caused severe outrage with parents, who were eventually apologised to by Labour MP Jas Athwal, who launched an investigation as to how taxpayer money funded the event, alongside the council and Redbridge Libraries themselves, despite the fact that they were posting in promotion of the event whilst it happened, clearly aware of what was going on. Tonight on the rageface studios podcast show, I will be discussing an article by financial news outlet CNBC, a division of NBC News and part of NBCUniversal, a Comcast company. On July 8, 2021, CNBC was mocked - mostly by conservative Twitter users - for having employee and "personal finance expert" Jessica Dickler posting an article with the title "The upside to inflation: rising wages," as in a wider sense, it can be seen as a defense of the Biden-Harris administration's largely generous (and arguably excessive) stimulus checks and other financial support, whilst ignoring the simple facts and maths of money and inflation; money itself has no value if you cannot purchase anything with it. The backlash led to CNBC having to change the title and key points of the article (without publicly announcing it), yet still keeping the original Twitter post up. TikTok activist Kim Saira cancels 'racist' James Corden over not liking food
In tonight's episode of the rageface studios show, we look at recent viral posts on TikTok and Instagram by progressive activist Kim Saira, who has been working on a campaign since early June 2021 to get rid of a segment, titled 'Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts,' of popular CBS late-night talk show 'The Late Late Show with James Corden,' which has aired since 2015. Within the segment, the current night's guests are put around a roundtable, and are asked to either answer embarrassing, self-deprecating, or controversial questions, or eat food considered "disgusting." Kim claims the segment should end as "it is racist and is using traditional Asian foods as props, perpetuating discrimination across America." This belief obviously seems exaggerated, and Kim also bypasses most criticism as coming from "white people" and therefore, irrelevant. James Corden's staff team eventually agreed to end the segment in its current form after Saira started a petition with over 40,000 signatures and a protest outside CBS Studios, yet Kim is still pursuing this issue to somehow get a public apology on a show that is currently on hiatus.
