Another goodie from Future Imperfect!

Jason Kingsley, OBE, is an excellent interviewer. He always asks the questions I’d like to ask. The experts he has interviewed in these Future Imperfect Podcasts always have something important and interesting to say about us, our world, and our future. This latest podcast about work is no exception. Professor Lucassen details the history of human work from hunter/gathers to modern times. The work of both men and women and their interaction is well treated with respect for both roles. Work of humans and animals is included. What is really interesting is why we work. Apparently, work is more to us than just the need to support ourselves and our families. One of the most important take aways from this podcast is what would happen if we all stopped working. Society and our world would stop functioning. This is really relevant as we enter a post-pandemic world. Future Imperfect gives us new insights and is really entertaining at the same time. Looking forward to more from Future Imperfect.
