Everyone has issues, but it can be difficult for most people to discuss them. Not to worry. The Always Open podcast is here for one and all. Hosted by Barbara Dunkelman, the podcast examines taboos and mental health issues.

The show discusses everything imaginable—and unimaginable—at the hosts' favorite diner. Barbara and friends breach every taboo. These guests include Mariel Salcedo, Gavin Free, Alfredo Diaz, and Trevor Collins. Special guests also join the team every week. They gab about sex, love, relationships, and anything that comes to mind.

The first podcast episodes released in 2016 and, still today, range across many different topics. One popular segment on the podcast is Cupidity. Here, the panel responds to a bunch of rapid-fire questions from OkCupid. They must answer them in 30 seconds or less. Box of Issues is another standard part of the show. Here, anonymous users who have sent questions via email ask for advice from the guests.

Many special guests have joined the show over the years, including actors Arryn Zech, Rahul Kohli, and Autumn Farrell. The podcast also offers excellent advice that everyone can use—without being preachy. The loose structure of the show allows guests to talk about almost anything.
