In addition, she has earned several academic certifications and trainings in various areas within education and ministry. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education from East Carolina University and she is currently in pursuit of obtaining a Master’s Degree in Social Work.

She works primarily with children and adults suffering from the effects of trauma. Her hope and joy are fueled by her Christian faith, spirituality, and in being a wife and mom.
