What do you expect from a president and other politicians, regardless of which party they are from?

Even if we didn't vote for them or don't agree with them, we deserve leaders who obey the Constitution and tell us the truth. We want figures who will protect our God-given liberties and our private property and be good stewards of our tax dollars.

But none of that is happening. As a result, many of us have grown cynical about politics. But even then, Americans expect government officials to be reasonably competent. It's not asking too much for them to have expertise - or at least a working knowledge - of the jobs they are hired to do.

But we get just the opposite, from Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who thinks roads and bridges are racist, to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who is deliberately allowing a tsunami of illegal immigration into our nation.

And just last week, we saw how President Biden's top economic adviser could not explain the role that bonds play in financing our growing debt. Treasury Sec. Janet Yellen says she's incapable of making projections about our national debt.

Our leaders are failing us and we must make a change - in elected office and in appointed positions. That all starts at the ballot box, and the 2024 elections cannot come soon enough.
Today, Sara welcomes Eric Hovde, a successful entrepreneur, businessman, and philanthropist. He will be the Republican nominee for U.
S. Senate in Wisconsin, challenging far-left Democrat Sen. Tammy Baldwin.

Hovde draws on his business background to explain how the economy actually works and what policies will do the most good for our nation and for your family. He contrasts his long record of providing jobs and health care to countless employees with Sen. Baldwin never having to balance the books in a business or choose health care plans for employees. And he reveals that while Biden keeps crowing about more Americans being covered under Obamcare, access to health care is actually declining.

When you think of the 2024 election, do you immediately think of Donald Trump and Joe Biden? Most people do. Some might also pay attention to House and Senate races.

According to a stunning report from Americans for Public Trust, Hansjörg Wyss has donated $250 million to a leftist organization called The 1630 Fund. That group has spent at least $100 million on successful progressive ballot initiatives to enshrine abortion with no restrictions in state constitutions and advance soft-on-crime policies.

Of course, when releasing an avalanche of issue ads, they are not sponsored by The 1630 Fund. It's always through safe-sounding entities like North Carolinians for a Better Economy.
Today, Sara welcomes Americans for Public Trust Executive Director Caitlyn Sutherland, who will shed much more light on who Wyss is, how he operates, and how he wants to remake the U.S. into a progressive nation.

But there is hope. Sutherland details efforts in Congress and at the state level to put the clamps on people like Wyss and their schemes. But it's not easy and you'll be amazed how brazenly leftist American politicians are working to protect this effort to subvert our elections.

The left is not only trying to police your speech, it wants to silence you. And it's willing to make you a criminal to do it.

What started as annoying political correctness decades ago is now a full-blown movement to muzzle anyone who dares to confront the left's narrative and declare them a criminal.

Scotland is currently reeling from new "hate speech" laws on issues ranging from disability to age to sexual orientation and gender identity. Calling someone a man when they are a man but "identify" as a woman is now illegal - and punishable as a crime. Prison time is possible for simply telling the truth.

But freedom is not going down without a fight.

Lois McLatchie of Alliance Defending Freedom UK joins Sara to discuss how wokeism is the new religion on the left and any dissent from its perverted tenets brings ruthless consequences.

McLatchie says Scotland is also a warning to the U.S. to vigorously guard our own freedoms. She says the First Amendment makes it much harder for the left to repeat its actions here but we should never be so complacent to think we can't lose them.

We've already seen the Biden FBI and Homeland Security pressure social media platforms to delete posts, suspend accounts, and reduce visibility for content it doesn't like. It tried to create a "Disinformation Governance Board" supposedly to confront misinformation and disinformation. And the only reason any of that came to light is because of the free speech commitments of Elon Musk at X and because the American people demanded the DHS speech police be disbanded.

The left is relentless and will keep trying to undermine our freedom, just like it did in Scotland. It's up to us to preserve the God-given freedoms that make us great.

She also calls out countless radical professors at Columbia for standing in solidarity with the demonstrators, many of whom are literally chanting slogans in support of Hamas.

Are you a good friend? What do you look for in a friend? Sure, you like to have common interests and do fun things together, but the real mark of a friend is someone who is honest with you and will stick with you in good times and bad.

Is the United States a good friend? It sure seems like we were when we liberated Europe from Hitler's grasp, stopped Japanese imperialism, and shoved the communists out of South Korea.

But are we still a dependable friend? The disgraceful and scandalous exit from Afghanistan nearly three years ago gives us good reasons to wonder, especially with Joe Biden in the White House.

You probably remember how Biden promised the Taliban was never going to take over all of Afghanistan until it did. And you may recall how he vowed the U.S. would stay in Afghanistan until every American got out until it didn't. And surely you remember how 13 American heroes died during a terrorist attack near the airport.

But there's so much more, including the men and women who honored their word to our Afghan friends when the Biden administration would not.
