    67: Bloody Mary

Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary!
The story of Bloody Mary has become a popular legend. She is often depicted as a vengeful spirit named Mary who haunts people who say her name three times while looking into a mirror.
Queen Mary I was the first ruling Queen of England. She was a devout Catholic and wanted to restore Catholicism in England, which had become Protestant under her father, King Henry VIII.
She was determined to achieve this goal by any means necessary, including burning Protestants at the stake if they refused to convert to her faith.
This earned her the nickname "Bloody Mary.”
Let's look at the life legend of Bloody Mary and uncover the secrets she keeps in her mirror.

    66: Adolf Eichmann

I absolutely love planning and organizing events. I take great pride in being able to control every aspect of the process and bring my vision to life. I am a stickler for efficiency and always aim to find the most effective way to execute my plans. I leave no stone unturned and always have backup plans in place, just in case something unexpected happens.
It never occurred to me that there was a dark side to planning, and our lesson today is about a man named Adolf Eichmann, who helped Hitler streamline the Holocaust by making concentration camps more efficient killing machines.
Let’s learn how an innocent child could grow into one of the deadliest planners in history.

    65: Timothy McVeigh

Timothy McVeigh, the topic for our lesson today was what my biggest fear for my adult life would be: a man who grew up in a rural town, with his grandma as one of his only friends, who turned into a horribly rotten man and eventually hurt a lot of innocent people.
He is responsible for the deadliest act of domestic terrorism in U.S. history, and today, we will learn all about his life, find out what inspired him, and hopefully, learn something from him that we can use to better the world. Let’s go!

If there is one thing I loathe, it's entitlement! I am happy to assist you with anything, but when someone demands and expects it, you can see yourself out!

MTLogic ,

Great podcast!

Josh covers very difficult topics with great sensitivity and a bit of humor. I have learned so much, but can only listen to one episode and then need to move on to lighter topics. But, we need to remember these horrible people and the terrible things they did, even if it makes us uncomfortable. So, thank you Josh! Appreciate you and the lessons you bring to us!

Edit: host reminds me of Paul Lynda.

Yes, you get a cookie for pronouncing “Makaveli in“ but then you lose your cookie for mispronouncing “psychopathy“. Also Savile is pronounced “sav-ill” not like the barber of “Seville”.
