    Devo Harris attended the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with a in degree in Economics and Strategic Management. Devo then earned an MBA degree from Columbia Business School. He signed his former college roommate, John Legend, to Kanye West’s GOOD Music label in 2003. Devo won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Song in 2006 for his production of "Diamonds from Sierra Leone" by Kanye West (his cousin). He then founded a tech company that developed an interactive video platform called Adventr.

    Starting in the 1970s Robert Metcalfe co-invented Ethernet, 3Com, his multibillion-dollar networking company, now part of Hewlett-Packard. He formulated Metcalfe's law, which describes the effect of a telecommunications network. Most recently he is a retired Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at The University of Texas at Austin. He holds degrees from MIT and Harvard, including his PhD in Computer Science.
