I wasn't expecting the third episode of this BRAND NEW SHOW to already face disruption, but, that's life. We're already breaking format. The typical guest and information style episode will return next time, but we have more important matters to attend to right now. You're probably feeling very anxious, and out of control, so this episode is all about the steps you can take to manage yourself. Be kind to yourself, because that's really important. A Podknows Productions Network podcast.
Do you really need an accountant to run your tax affairs? After all, you're living in Oxfordshire, one of the most affluent areas of the UK. Surely you know how to handle a few invoices and some balance sheets? Graham Carson, founder member of Inca Accountants, based near Wantage in Oxfordshire, talks me through the reasons why hiring an accountant for your business might be one of the most important decisions you ever make. Also covered in this episode: Oxford's going into more restrictive measures with Tier 2 now meaning you can't hang out with people in their houses anymore. Sunetra Gupta is Professor of Theoretical Epidemiology at the University of Oxford and thinks the government has it all wrong when it comes to this Tier 2 thing.
When Oxfordshire charity Against Breast Cancer agreed to guest on my new show, I was delighted to be able to learn more.  But, when Samantha Williamson told me that Breast Cancer Awareness month was ending soon, I decided that waiting for their episode to be released was a non-starter. I needed to get the word out now. So, that's why this special 'minisode' is being released before the official launch of the show. I hope this demonstrates my commitment to using this incredible medium of podcasting to really connect the Oxfordshire community and its wider neighbours! Take a listen to this episode in which we'll learn what this tremendous Abingdon charity has planned, and then follow them on their social channels: Twitter Linkedin Facebook YouTube
