Description

In the modern era, our nutrition systems are in crisis. Foods that once had high levels of minerals and vitamins have seen their levels plummet as a result of the compromised health of our soil and ecosystems. With these changes, our waistlines have expanded, as food is less nutrient-dense and therefore less filling. Entire communities are undernourished and overweight. This is a direct result of the figurative and literal food deserts we live in today. It's time for a new era, one that puts nutrition first, without compromise.

At Nutrition Without Compromise we believe that great nutrition and bountiful health is a human right. We believe that you should never have to make a choice between your ethics, your morals, the food on your plate, and the environment that produces it in order to stay your healthiest and live your best life. If you want to join a movement that challenges the status quo, that asks you to think deeply and discover new solutions that you might never have thought possible, then this podcast and community is exactly where you belong.

This show is hosted by Corinna Bellizzi, a natural products industry veteran who has spent her entire professional career growing sustainable, regenerative brands that challenge the traditional way of doing things, and that always ask what we can do differently, and better. With a background in anthropology and ethnographic research she constantly seeks solutions to common problems that will work to improve the lives of greater communities around the globe. Corinna has an extensive nutrition background, having formulated and marketed hundreds of supplements and foods over the last 20+ years. These products include traditional approaches to health and wellness, incorporating herbal extracts, micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) and macronutrients including omega-3s, other essential fatty acids  and proteins. She is periodically joined by co-hosts including Tia Morell Walden, a holistic nutritionist and integrative nutrition health coach who is passionate about educating people from all walks of life on the many benefits of re-tooling their health by focusing on great nutrition and a whole-istic approach to living.

Tia and Corinna are each experienced podcasters with successful shows. Corinna has been running the Care More Be Better podcast since January of 2021, focusing on regenerative solutions to social problems and the health of our planet. Tia is a co-host on Obsessed with Humans On The Verge of Change where she focuses on giving you the tools you need to live a healthier, happier and more fulfilling life.

Tune in each week to deepen your knowledge of nutrition and health, uncover promising new research, and get to know incredible thought leaders in the health and wellness industry. Lean-in to the possibility of a better future and achieve your best health - without compromise.

This show is produced and sponsored by Örlö  Nutrition. At Örlö, we’re evolving our food systems to produce endless nourishment with positive environmental impact.

Industrial food systems continue to take more from the planet while producing less nutrition. With the system out of balance and unsustainable, Örlö relies on a scalable, carbon-negative process to grow our polar omega-3 nutrition, helping to advance the food sustainability evolution that the world needs. Through science and technology and with reverence for our planet’s vital ecosystems, we’re cultivating healthier, more impactful omega-3 nourishment with zero environmental impact. In doing so, we’re changing the fate of our future to one where we can live in complete sync with the planet — no sacrifices required. This is why we believe in Nutrition Without Compromise.

I’m thrilled to share another podcast and terrestrial radio show that I had the pleasure of co-hosting just over a week ago – and that’s Forever Young Radio Show. In this episode, you get to hear from a guest I’ve featured a few times before on this show – and that’s Dr. William Li – the 2x New York Times bestselling author of Eat To Beat Your Diet. What You'll Learn: We zero in on his work as it relates to metabolic health and healthy aging. In that 20 minute session, we share why this important class of nutrients is so important, how it can help us resolve inflammation in our bodies, and even help restore our metabolic fire. Here's that YouTube link: https://youtu.be/UhG2D70YfWUAdditional Resources: And for those of you that are just being introduced to Dr. William Li and his important work, I’m including links to past episodes in which I interviewed Dr. Li – and also the 4 week deep dive into a course he offers.
