Yeah, this brings back to mind my earliest confusion about religion and Adam and Eve, and Eve's sin. And, the situation of this place, Eden was inside a world where there were humans that Cain could be cast out among once cursed, obviously not Adam's offspring. Adam is given dominion, given a helpmate, naming stuff, etc. These aspects of the fable are taken quite literally by white people, and to THEMSELVES ALONE.

I lost count on the “F-bombs,” from one of the female commentators. I guess it’s a personal preference for me but dang it was distracting while trying to listen to the podcast.

A popular myth exists that the White House was first painted white to cover the scorch marks left after British soldiers set fire to the house during the War of 1812. Actually, the White House first gained a lime-based whitewash in 1798 to protect the exterior stone from moisture and cracking during winter freezes.

This episode, once again, was SO heavy. And you guys breakdown was even heavier! There's so much going on in episode 5 that I don't think that anyone watching can help but to look at their own life choices and moral code and begin to ask questions. thanks for another great episode of the show AND podcast!

I just watched the first show of Lovecraft and I enjoyed it. The story has many layers and I can’t wait to see what happens next. Also Jordan Peele’s additions of period photographers ( Gordon Parks and Margaret Bourke-White) in a scene was a wonderful surprise!
