BONUS: Is Vance Joseph a roadblock on potential Head Coach hires for the Arizona Cardinals?

BONUS: Is Vance Joseph a roadblock on potential Head Coach hires for the Arizona Cardinals?

Tyler Vasquez gives the Bird Gang faithful a bonus dose as he extends the conversations around the Arizona Cardinals coaching search. No Sean Payton, no Dan Quinn, no Frank Reich... whoever emerges as the Head Coach for Arizona Tyler believes there could be a behind the scenes issue. Vance Joseph, who has been mentioned as potential hot-commodity for other DC positions, could be a hold over that ownership will want an incoming hire to retain.
With a list of second interviews on the schedule, Tyler discusses the potential hires, and if the Cardinals braintrust feels like they are ready to turn over a new feather as this franchise moves forward.

Arizona Cardinals miss out on Sean Payton. Is Kyler Murray keeping coaching candidates away?

Arizona Cardinals miss out on Sean Payton. Is Kyler Murray keeping coaching candidates away?

Tyler Vasquez and Adam Armbrecht discuss the Arizona Cardinals latest offseason update. First, they mourn the loss of Sean Payton to the Denver Broncos, but also find themselves asking - was it a blessing in disguise? Despite all the speculation the Cardinals interviewed other candidates well ahead of Sean Payton's visit and seem to be unwilling to spend the dollars and draft capitol to retain his services.
Several other candidates however went back to their current teams or to other franchises, which does have the hosts feeling like Arizona is striking out on all fronts. One critical component that seems to be leaving potential hires to the wind is QB Kyler Murray and concerns over his injury and franchise commitment.
The silver lining is that the Cardinals will have close to top-ten cap room and may have a path to accomplish a partial rebuild while still holding a hefty financial commitment for their signal caller.
Adam also offers up a coaching hire that peaks Tyler's offensive interest in the short and long term.

Professor Bear ,

The best AZ Cardinals Podcast (BY FAR)

For many years I counted on local AZ sports radio for coverage concerning the cardinals. A lot of the takes and scoops have always been cookie cutter and very “media-like”. This podcast is one that not ivory provides amazing insight and analysis on the franchise but also does an amazing job by having different perspectives from fan base personalities (Tyler) to outside analysis looking in (Bird god). Also great guests from former players to personnel covering the team and opponents. Best podcast by far!! -Javier
