After last episode's cliff hanger and a long hiatus, we are back with the conclusion of our interview with Zack Bennett! We dive in to the history of the Music City, WSM, and advice for people thinking about a career in entertainment!   A native Middle Tennessean, Zack Bennett grew up in Wilson County and got his first on-air radio job in 1999 at a station in Lebanon, TN. After graduating from MTSU, plus a stint working for the Titans Radio Network and a few different Nashville stations, he moved to Huntsville, Alabama in 2005. There he programmed two talk radio stations, served as a producer & sidekick on a talk show, did sports play-by-play, reported morning and afternoon traffic, and was an on-air personality on a Top 40 station. He returned to Middle Tennessee in 2010 and joined the airstaff of 95.5 WSM-FM in 2012. Zack is now Assistant Program Director at the legendary WSM 650 Radio. Zack lives in Smyrna, TN with his wife, Audrey.

Always an artist at heart, Lisa’s practical side gave way to her independent spirit, and she enrolled in the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and The School for Film and Television. While working in the fashion industry, she started her career as an actor in the off-Broadway theater scene of New York City. However, she soon learned that her passion (and strength) was in writing and directing. After 25 productions…some of which won local awards…Lisa soon found herself drawn to a new medium, the internet. She moved to Los Angeles where she started producing and creating web content. Her work with many San Francisco Bay Area companies led her to take a seven-year hiatus from the “industry” while she pursued a successful career in the tech space. However, her heart always yearned to return to the arts. After selling her company and buying a ranch in Santa Clarita, CA Lisa found herself inspired to write again while taking long hikes with her dogs or riding her horses (literally) into the sunset.
