Smart and fun

I never thought I’d listen to a podcast about Newburyport books, most of which I’ve never read, but these women’s love of them is infectious. Sure, they gush a bit during some of interviews, but that’s only because they love these authors so gosh darn much. My only problem is I wish they would drink a little more. This show would be even better if they had a better buzz going.

Clever, entertaining, delightful

This is such a delightful podcast. The hosts' chemistry is strong and charming, their insights into the books are clever, unexpected and fascinating, and the books chosen are always great reads. If you love great kids' books and with you had smart friends to talk about them with, this podcast is your new favorite thing.

Fun, intellectually engaging, refreshing!

I am excited to have discovered this new little gem of a podcast. I love children’s literature, and this is a great way to revisit (and visit for the first time) some really quality books, from a more grown up perspective. The hosts are fun and you feel like you are chatting with a couple of friends with fancy cocktails.

Can’t wait for more!
