I spoke to Patrice Evra following the Manchester United legends game against Liverpool legends at Old Trafford.
Former Celtic defender Kelvin Wilson joins me. He started his career with Notts County, before moving to Preston North End in 2006. Nottingham Forest signed him one year later for £300,000. He moved to Celtic in 2011 on a free transfer. On 9 August 2013, Wilson re-signed for Nottingham Forest for a fee of £2.5 million.
Paul Lambert is my latest guest. He played as a midfielder and won the Scottish Cup in 1987 with St Mirren as a 17-year-old, the UEFA Champions League with Borussia Dortmund and all the Scottish domestic honours with Celtic. In his international career, Lambert earned 40 caps for Scotland and played in the 1998 FIFA World Cup finals.
Ivo Pinto joins me. He opens up about playing in Portugal, Romania, Croatia, the Netherlands & in England. He has very fond memories of life @NorwichCityFC & training alongside @Cristiano.
Roy Cavanagh - author of over 20 books with 6 on Manchester United - joins me for a fascinating chat on footballing nostalgia and Manchester United.
Mixu is my latest guest. He is a Finnish international and former manager Finland national team. He scored 18 goals in 70 appearances for the Finnish national team, which makes him Finland's all time thirteenth most capped player and fifth top goalscorer. He played in Scotland for Dundee United, Hibs and Aberdeen.
Dr. Erkut Söğüt is a player agent, lawyer, lecturer and author. He holds a doctorate in sports law. His clients include Mesut Özil, Kieran Gibbs, Kerem Aktürkoğlu, and he is well-known for having negotiated the biggest Premier League contract in history in January 2018 for his client. He also negotiated the biggest contract in Turkish football history (on and off-the-pitch) with Özil’s move to Fenerbahce.
Brian Little joins Callum. In his careers Brian managed Darlington, Leicester City, Aston Villa, Stoke City, West Bromwich Albion, Hull City, Tranmere Rovers, Wrexham, and Jersey. As a player, he was a versatile forward who spent his entire playing career at Aston Villa. He made one appearance at International level for England as a substitute against Wales in 1975.
Eilidh Barbour joins Callum. Eilidh presents and reports for Premier League and FA Cup matches for BBC Final Score and is also Sky Sports SPFL Anchor. As a presenter, she regularly fronts Football Focus, Match of the Day 2, FA Cup draws and highlights as well as The Women’s Football Show for BBC. She is also the face of BBC's Golf coverage.
David Hodgson is our latest guest. He played for Middlesbrough, Liverpool, Norwich City, Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday, as well as top division clubs FC Metz in France, Mazda in Japan, and Jerez Club Deportivo in Spain. During his two-year spell at Liverpool he helped them win the First Division twice. He made 49 appearances in total between 1982 and 1984.
Mick Rathbone is an English former professional footballer who spent a number of years as part of the Everton medical team. He is currently physiotherapist for Salford City. He played 384 games in the Football League representing Birmingham City, Blackburn Rovers and Preston North End.
