Our Editor's Take

Blackhawks Talk Podcast provides a place for Hawks fans to receive up-to-date news on the team. After all, the Chicago Blackhawks are one of the most storied teams in NHL history. A proud "Original Six" team, they have been home to some of the sport's best players, such as Jonathan Toews and Duncan Keith. The show offers recaps, predictions for upcoming games, analysis, and much more. It is an official production of NBC Sports. Hawks fans familiar with their high-quality content can expect the same excellence here.

The hosts of this podcast are Pat Boyle and Charlie Roumeliotis. Both have been covering the Blackhawks for an extensive period of time. Boyle has been in sports media for over 25 years. He began his career as an anchor for ESPN in 2000. In 2004, he began working as the Blackhawks host and anchor for NBC Sports Chicago. Additionally, he writes articles for their website.

Roumeliotis began his career working as an intern at 1340 WJOL in 2012. After spending a few years in radio and digital content creation, he moved to the NBC Sports Chicago team in 2014. After working as a producer for several years, he became a Blackhawks insider in 2019. This led to him transitioning to an on-camera role. He now often works with Boyle as a host.

One of the most intriguing parts of the Blackhawks Talk Podcast are its interviews. Because this is an NBC Sports Chicago podcast, the hosts have a great deal of access to the team. This means that listeners also get as close to their favorite players as can be. Former players Bryan Bickell and John Scott, for example, have appeared on the show.

New episodes of Blackhawks Talk Podcast air on Tuesday and Friday of each week.
