96. Reset Your Mental Health & Heal From Anxiety, Depression, Resent & More Using These 5 Pillars
Are you done living with constant anxiety? Being stuck in a funk, feeling depressed, and resentful? In today's episode, Claire Uncapher, and I discuss the 5 Pillars of her inside-out healing method: discovering the root cause, living authentically, practicing argument-free communication, silencing the inner critic, and using the body speak method. We emphasize the importance of open communication, surrendering to the present moment, and listening to the wisdom of the body. We also highlight the significance of setting boundaries, protecting one's peace, and honoring oneself in relationships. Takeaways *Depression and anxiety are symptoms of something deeper and can be addressed by uncovering the root cause. *Living authentically and practicing argument-free communication are essential for true healing. *Surrendering to the present moment and letting go of defensiveness can lead to more harmonious interactions. *Silencing the inner critic involves recognizing its presence, validating its concerns, and consciously choosing a different narrative. *Listening to the wisdom of the body and honoring its needs can provide valuable guidance and promote emotional well-being. *Setting boundaries and protecting one's peace are crucial for maintaining mental and emotional health. *Honoring oneself and being authentic in relationships can lead to greater fulfillment and connection. 95. How To Feel Like You Are Enough...Because You Are!
Do you feel like you're not enough? In this episode I provide strategies to overcome feeling like you aren't enough. It's important to find evidence to support the belief that you are enough because if you currently don't feel like you're enough, you will find evidence to support that. We just love to be right, even if it hurts us! Proving to yourself you are enough in various areas of life, including work, friendships, family relationships, romantic relationships, and the relationship with oneself is highly beneficial in overcoming these destructive feelings. By embodying the evidence and countering negative beliefs, we can feel confident in our self-worth. Takeaways *Feeling not enough is rooted in shame and the need for approval from others. *Resolving the feeling of not being enough is an internal process that cannot be resolved through external validation. *Actively look for evidence in different areas of your life, such as work, friendships, family, romantic relationships, and the relationship with oneself, and identify specific instances where you have felt good enough. *Improve your life one day at a time with my book Results Daily Planning & Self-Development *Get my FREE EBOOK Rooting for you! 94. Are Your Positive Affirmations Toxic?

94. Are Your Positive Affirmations Toxic?
Positive affirmations are meant to help us rewire our subconscious mind by getting rid of limiting beliefs that hold us back from being who we truly are, and going after the life we desire. However, simply repeating affirmations without believing them can be toxic because we don't see the changes we had hoped for. We feel like we failed ourselves. Reframing affirmations into questions and providing evidence to support them can help overcome resistance and make affirmations more powerful. Consistently practicing this technique for three months can lead to transformative changes in behavior and emotions. Takeaways Positive affirmations are meant to rewire the subconscious mind and change limiting beliefs into empowered knowledge that inspires action.Repeating affirmations without believing them can be toxic and ineffective.Taking actionable steps, managing emotions, and reframing affirmations into questions can make affirmations more powerful. *Improve your life one day at a time with my book Results Daily Planning & Self-Development *Get my FREE EBOOK Rooting for you! 89. 7 Lies That Kill Your Authenticity
Feb 14 2024
89. 7 Lies That Kill Your Authenticity
Other people’s beliefs and should(s), are worth considering, but if they don’t enhance the quality of our life, get rid of them. We waste ridiculous amounts of time and energy comparing ourselves to others and guilting ourselves when we’ve done nothing morally wrong. Then we punish ourselves based on not meeting the expectations of other people’s beliefs and what they think we should be doing. When we do this, we disconnect from our own beliefs, needs, desires, and ultimately our authentic self and give others power not just over our lives, but over our true identity. We grow weak in our decision making and don’t trust ourselves because we’ve stopped thinking for ourselves and have adopted what they think or believe without considering if it’s true for us. If we want to keep growing and evolving, we need to stay strong in our beliefs and authenticity by challenging some common beliefs and misconceptions that often result in pulling us away from who we truly are and cause us to feel ashamed, not enough, guilty, like failures, or rotten, uncaring people. Listen and reflect as I unpack 7 lies that kill our authenticity. Rooting for you! Be real. Be raw. Be Authentic.
