But if there's one positive we can take away from the past 12 months, it's that the discussion mental health has become a lot more open and in focus.
Talking about mental health has become more common over the past decade, but many of us might feel ashamed or fearful about bringing it up.
But one of the strongest tools for starting the recovery process is just that - talking about it.
