The KEDs and Katie episode is so good. Thankful they did this episode and would listen to a dozen more.
GLP-1s
Mar 29
It’s a great pod except for the weight loss drug eps. Katie has a clear bias (she recently said on her other pod that she thinks GLP-1s are just a money grab). She could have had ONE of the MILLIONS these drugs have helped on instead of the one person who they didn’t work for. She’s usually well-researched but this was not it. Like yes, obviously, the Big Pharma of it all is atrocious. The compounding is concerning. But the shortage is long over, the drugs have been extensively studied, and millions have been helped. Very disappointing.

Pretty new here and have listened to a handful of eps. I love the show and want to be friends, lol. I have a near obsession with economics and history and your content is top notch. Keep up the great work.
Episode 249

More a comment than review but SS is an entitlement and a benefit we pay into against our will. We are entitled to money we pay into the government against our will even if we don’t get a fraction of the money returned over a lifetime. Keep up the good work!

Just listened to the “social wealth fund” episode. Really just a show promoting the Northern European version of socialism. Huge assumptions with logic gaps in second and third order effects. Sounded like two young millennials trying to tell the rest of America they’re behaving poorly. “It’s not so much that I’m mad. Just disappointed”
Pretentious

The host speaks about every topic like someone who has spent their entire life in academia.
Ignorant clowns: “Reproductive justice” 🤡
Mar 20
Where is justice for the millions of unborn children that had their right to life robbed from them? Just say it plainly what it really is: ABORTION, aka MURDERING BABIES. The cognitive dissonance on this basic fact discredits your critical thinking and especially on the basic facets of life which is at the lowest common denominator to be alive and to protect and nurture human life. Fun fact: abortion SURVIVORS, aka BABIES who survived their mother’s attempt at killing them in the womb, DO EXIST and there are plenty of those who are grown up now since abortion had been legal in this country for over 50 years. Read and listen to their testimonies and those of former abortionists and former pro-choice women who actually had abortions. Most women regret aborting their children, it’s a fact. To say “reproductive justice” is a slap to their faces for surviving attempted dismemberment/chemical abortions and for being alive, and is a dance on the unmarked graves of millions of unborn babies. Oh wait, they don’t have graves because abortionists and their staff toss them into the biohazard bags and either throw them in with other garbage or ship the corpses off to labs for experiments. No names, no dignity, and no respect were ever given to those infants who they brutalize and murder for “health.” Sick and disgusting to call that reality “justice.”
Great info with snark

Easy to understand, Great podcast. But Katie , what’s your backstory? I heard it mentioned in a recent episode that you were a victim of fraud? Can you tell that story sometime? Thx for the great pod.
Two Sides to the Money Story?
Mar 5
Loving the MMT intro on Money with Katie. Would be great to hear both sides—maybe Stephanie Kelton to unpack MMT’s case, paired with someone like Lyn Alden to question it from a grounded finance angle. Could make for a balanced, eye-opening chat!
